About Me

My photo
The Baritone
London, United Kingdom
One time heavy metal guitar player, Stephen John Svanholm (that's me) transformed into a professional operatic baritone. Have been freelance for the last 12 years. In 2011-12 I sang the roles of Figaro, The Bonze, Falke, Belcore, Schaunard, Father (Hansel and Gretel), Germont, and Donner on the operatic stage. This year I have Gunther in Götterdämmerung coming up, as well as the Count in Marriage of Figaro, and Angelotti in Tosca. I also produce Opera Gothic with my project Sibelian (www.sibelian.com)
